I can ask you that for a bit as of why it was it like that. I thought it was Pixels. My least favorite, however, was The Invasion 1, not because it wasn't as flashy or polished as The Invasion 2, but because it was a less polished version of The Invasion 2. Wed Jan 08, 5:

I know the proper SMB3 cave tiles weren't added until around 1. Overall though, this is fantastic full length episode, especially for one made without slopes, water, custom graphics, and with only three different bosses.

TGCA was my favorite because it got around not-being-able-to-have-custom-songs-on-the-map by making a HUD-based episode instead. Lol, you got trolled.
You autistic some people so much with that statement. When I found out that it was a remake, I was disappointed and I felt that it should have been invaison as such.
I seriously do not even encounter a Level that has 1x1 Wooden Blocks in it.

Think about it, if it featured a lot of puzzle-solving and nonlinearity yet no custom graphics it should go among the ranks of some of the greatest episodes, which often have custom graphics. One thing that I always disliked somewhat about it is that you can't get Fire Flowers outside of the first bonus level until the second world.
